The Mordekkers regularly play festivals, public events, clubs, and private functions. As well as establishing themselves as a firm favourite in their local region of Wales, the Mordekkers have performed at the Glastonbury Festival, the Big Green Gathering, the Sidmouth Folk Festival, the Small Nations Festival, Afro-Celtic Explosion, Earthwise Festival, Ponterdawe Folk Festival, The Comedia (Brighton) and the Synergy Project (London). In addition to their conventional stage based performance the Mordekkers can also play for traditional dance sessions and workshops, and perform a "wandering minstrel" act (processing in medaeval costume while playing various combinations of stick drums, pipes and other reed instruments |
